The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a dock to create a clean zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do everything.
But if you want to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this robotic, there are plenty of alternatives on the market, including a lot of eufy models that cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
