Personalisation

The customers sit at a set of pictures referred to as "mood stations" and pick a set of images ranging from scenic landscapes to sporting events that will inspire them. Every time a choice is made the pattern that emerges shows the model colors, style and color preferences for the bespoke Bentley.

The configuration that is created is then loaded onto individual R.F.I.D.-enabled key cards that are then presented to guests in a custom key case. Keys can be adorned with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps, which illuminate the path of the opening door with the owner's name or logo as they approach the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours to build and assemble the Mulsanne. The refusal to embrace modern technology is the primary factor to this time-consuming effort. Drivers must park their vehicles manually, not using sensors built-in to direct them to perpendicular and parallel spots.
