imageBentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

imageBentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to commemorate the brand's centennial. It is made from Dark stained Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a fluttering "B" paperweight keys, as well as an unreleased booklet with 1930s 8 Litre images.

This is the perfect way to greet a new owner of a vehicle.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a company that takes its aesthetics very seriously. It is evident in the precise positioning of its quilting, the use of leather from leftovers from cattle and sustainable-managed forests, and the unique patterns of its levers. As you approach a vehicle like the Continental GT W12, its exquisite design is revealed through carefully selected lighting.

The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever built. The rear tonneau of the Continental GT, for instance it was the largest piece ever made of dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer that was book-matched. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

bentley continental key fob is the most sought-after car brand in the world due to its distinctive design and quality. The firm continues to push the boundaries with the latest technology and craftsmanship, including the introduction of an instrument cluster with digital technology, an electric tilt-opening rear glass sunroof, a custom-designed docking station for Apple iPads, and electrochromic "smart" glass that can be changed from transparent to opaque by a button.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in the year 2019 one hundred years after it was established. The marque, which is now owned by Volkswagen independently following years of tense relations with BMW and BMW, had planned a number of special launches and events to celebrate this significant occasion. Before the pandemic planning took the spotlight, the marque held a series of special events and launches planned to commemorate this milestone event.

Design

Bentley is a renowned brand for its lavish and extravagant automobiles, but even the keys are designed to stand out. The Bentayga key is made from sterling silver. It features an oversized 'B' logo that lets everyone know you drive a Bentley. The key is also decorated with the years 1919 and 2019 to commemorate the company's centennial.

The Mulsanne was revamped and redesigned by Bentley Mulliner, to be the ultimate Grand Touring car. The rear seats are designed to give passengers unmatched comfort and privacy. They were inspired by the luxurious private aircraft. A customized heating, air conditioning, and ventilation system was designed to provide each passenger with the ideal climate control setting.

The Mulsanne has a twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that generates 560bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This incredible power is enhanced by a new suspension system that provides Bentley's trademark hushed ride.

Bentley has launched a new specification for cars manufactured after the year 2019 to commemorate its centenary. It is known as the Centenary Specification. This includes contrast stitching and cross-stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests, seats and other areas of the car. This enhances the celebration. A bespoke Bentley key case is also included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne Key features two buttons: one that opens the trunk, and the other that is used to start the vehicle. It also has a switch that can turn on the parking break. There is a knob that can fold and unfold the mirrors while parking in tight spaces. This feature helps you get in and out of your car.

The key is constructed from vegetable tanned leather. It takes more than two days to create each one. It is hand cut and shaped, then sewn, sealed, and polished to produce an excellent finish. It is robust small and compact, and it fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar with the Volkswagen Phaeton's large car key, yet it feels more substantial and premium.

Secure-A-Key is also included to help stop keyless entry theft. This device is placed inside the remote control fob and disables it when the key has not been used for more than a few minutes. It stops thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can be used to unlock and start the vehicle.

Bentley's unique design is a reflection of the company's values that include high-quality craftsmanship, engineering expertise and the latest technologies. Its headquarters in Crewe is home to more than four hundred employees who are responsible for the design, development and production of bentley key programming vehicles. These workers utilize skills handed down through generations and apply them to cutting-edge automotive technology. This is British manufacturing at its best.

Personalisation

Bentley's Mulliner division lets customers create their own car. The "mood station" lets guests pick images that inspire them. They can choose anything from stunning views to sporting events. Each time a selection is made, a pattern is created and spare reveals the design and color preferences for the personalized Bentley.

The configuration that is created is saved to individual R.F.I.D.-enabled key cards that are then presented to the guests in a custom-made key case. Keys can also be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps, which illuminate the door-opening pathway with the owner's name or logo when they make their way towards the vehicle.

Bentley estimates it takes approximately 500 man-hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The key to this time-consuming effort is a reluctance to embrace the latest technology. The Crewe factory workers do not utilize a machine for arranging perfectly-matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. Drivers are required to park their vehicles manually, not using sensors built-in to guide them into perpendicular and parallel spots.

Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization capabilities in the release of a special Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays homage to William Osler, the founder of bentley keys for sale. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays tribute to the founding father of the brand, William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars come with an item key that shows an original 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
