Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to commemorate the brand's centennial. It is made from Dark stained Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a fluttering "B" paperweight keys, as well as an unreleased booklet with 1930s 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Design

Bentley has launched a new specification for cars manufactured after the year 2019 to commemorate its centenary. It is known as the Centenary Specification. This includes contrast stitching and cross-stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests, seats and other areas of the car. This enhances the celebration. A bespoke Bentley key case is also included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.
Function
The Bentley Mulsanne Key features two buttons: one that opens the trunk, and the other that is used to start the vehicle. It also has a switch that can turn on the parking break. There is a knob that can fold and unfold the mirrors while parking in tight spaces. This feature helps you get in and out of your car.
The key is constructed from vegetable tanned leather. It takes more than two days to create each one. It is hand cut and shaped, then sewn, sealed, and polished to produce an excellent finish. It is robust small and compact, and it fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar with the Volkswagen Phaeton's large car key, yet it feels more substantial and premium.
Secure-A-Key is also included to help stop keyless entry theft. This device is placed inside the remote control fob and disables it when the key has not been used for more than a few minutes. It stops thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can be used to unlock and start the vehicle.

Personalisation
Bentley's Mulliner division lets customers create their own car. The "mood station" lets guests pick images that inspire them. They can choose anything from stunning views to sporting events. Each time a selection is made, a pattern is created and
spare reveals the design and color preferences for the personalized Bentley.
The configuration that is created is saved to individual R.F.I.D.-enabled key cards that are then presented to the guests in a custom-made key case. Keys can also be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps, which illuminate the door-opening pathway with the owner's name or logo when they make their way towards the vehicle.
Bentley estimates it takes approximately 500 man-hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The key to this time-consuming effort is a reluctance to embrace the latest technology. The Crewe factory workers do not utilize a machine for arranging perfectly-matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. Drivers are required to park their vehicles manually, not using sensors built-in to guide them into perpendicular and parallel spots.
Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization capabilities in the release of a special Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays homage to William Osler, the founder of
bentley keys for sale. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays tribute to the founding father of the brand, William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars come with an item key that shows an original 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
