Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed an exclusive key case to commemorate the brand's centennial. It's made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a flying "B" paperweight, keys, and an unreleased booklet with 1930s 8 Litre images.

Bentley estimates that it requires 500 man-hours to build and assemble a Mulsanne. The unwillingness to embrace modern technology is the primary factor to this time-consuming task. The Crewe factory workers don't use a machine to space perfectly matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. And rather than using the car's built-in sensors guide it into parallel and perpendicular parking spots the drivers must do it by hand.
At the event, Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization capabilities using one of a kind - the Mulsanne W.O. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays homage to the founder William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars include keys that display an original 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
