BMW Ghost Immobiliser
The
ghost immobiliser car utilizes the CAN data bus to communicate with your vehicle. This stops thieves adding an additional key or replacing the ECU to bypass your security system as it requires a valid PIN code to begin the engine.
Unlike other immobilisers The Ghost is different from other immobilisers. Ghost doesn't use LED indications or key-fobs. It uses the buttons on your vehicle to allow you to enter a unique sequence of disarming that you only know.
Stop & Start

Our BMW ghost immobiliser, a next-generation device, does not require you to cut OEM wires or add key fobs or alarms from the aftermarket. It is connected to the BMW CAN data network and is programmed with an unique PIN code which is accessible through buttons on your car. Service Mode / Valet Mode

This allows you to start your car using your keys as normal but stops the engine from running again unless the proper code is entered. This is ideal for customers who need to turn their cars to valet services or other trusted friends and family members. This lets you bring your vehicle to the garage for repairs and maintenance, etc. without worrying about it being altered by an expert mechanic while you are waiting.
Once the service / valet mode is activated, it will stop your BMW from being driven once started, this prevents anyone from testing it whilst you are away. After you return, it will return to normal stopping your vehicle from being tampered with or stolen once again.

Anti-Hijack
Ghost created this discrete device that is obtrusive, and unobtrusive to fight the increasing sophistication of hi-tech thieves. It is designed to prevent thieves from adding a new key or replacing the ECU in order to start your car and then drive away. Ghost connects to your CAN network and utilizes buttons on your vehicle to generate an individual push-sequence that has to be entered before the engine can start.
If the anti-hijacking mode has been activated the attempt to restart the engine will be stopped. If the system detects that the vehicle is no longer moving, it will honk the horn and flash the indicators. If it fails to identify the correct code it will also stall the engine (where it is). By entering your push sequence, or entering service mode, you can deactivate the Anti-Hijack feature. This allows your vehicle to temporarily start without entering the PIN.
If you own a GPS device linked up to your BMW it is possible to use it to turn off the Anti-Hijack feature so you can still use the navigation system in your car even when the vehicle is parked and unsupervised. If you have a smart-phone you can also link it to your Ghost app to control the anti-hijack feature and other functions.

We can connect your
ghost immobiliser tracker device to your mobile application for remote control of keyless start and go functionality. This is useful when you have to go somewhere in another location and valet or mechanic need to start your car. The system allows you to turn the vehicle on and off, then select drive and quit service mode without needing your key fobs. You can also view your vehicle's location in real-time on a map displayed on your smartphone, ideal to track your car while in motion.
The Ghost can be positioned under the dashboard or in the center console. It is completely hidden and tamperproof and does not require any additional wiring. The device is connected to the CAN Data Network of the vehicle (similar to an Ethernet cable) and a personal pin code is inserted into it. This pin code must be chosen before the vehicle is started. This prevents thieves from bypassing the system with the cloned or replaced ECU.
If the vehicle is stolen, the Ghost will enter a security mode and shut down all functions until the PIN code is entered, or you make use of the mobile app to disable it.
