Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique keycase to celebrate the brand's centenary. It is constructed of Dark stained Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a fluttering "B" paperweight keys, as well as an album of never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.
It's the perfect gift to introduce a new owner to their luxurious vehicle.
Aesthetics
As a design-centric company Bentley takes its aesthetics seriously. It shows in the precision positioning of its quilting, the selection of leather from cattle by-products, the wood that comes from sustainably managed forests and the ingenious patterns that are etched on its levers. As you approach a
bently car key like the Continental GT W12, its exquisite design is revealed through carefully selected lighting.
The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top car. The rear of the tonneau in the Continental GT, for example, featured the largest piece of dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer that was book-matched. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.
It is this bespoke design, quality and attention to detail that has established Bentley as the world's most sought-after car brand. The company continues to push the boundaries with the latest technologies and hand-crafted products. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear sunroof, as well as a custom-designed Apple iPad docking station.
A century after its creation,
bentley key holder - now under sole Volkswagen ownership following years of wrangling with BMW and BMW - celebrated its centennial in 2019. Prior to pandemic planning taking place, the marque held a series of special events and launches planned to mark this significant occasion.
Design
Bentley is a renowned brand for its lavish and extravagant automobiles and keys, but even keys are designed to make a statement. The Bentayga key is made of sterling silver. It features a large 'B' logo that let everyone know that you're driving a Bentley. The key is also embossed with the dates 1919 and 2019, to commemorate the company's centennial.
The Mulsanne was revamped and redesigned by Bentley Mulliner, to be the ultimate Grand Touring car. The rear seats are designed to offer passengers the most comfortable and private experience. They were inspired by the luxurious private aircraft. A custom heating, air conditioning and ventilation system was designed to ensure each passenger has the perfect climate control setting.
Alongside a series of exquisitely executed styling tweaks and a host of elegantly executed styling changes, the Mulsanne is powered by twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre W12 engine that can produce 560bhp and 479lbft of torque. This colossal power is complemented by a brand new suspension design that gives Bentley's famously quiet ride.
Bentley has released a special specification for cars made after 2019 to celebrate its centennial. It is known as the Centenary Specification. The cabin features cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests seats, the interior and other areas of the car. This adds to the celebration. A custom Bentley key case is included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.
Function
The Bentley Mulsanne key comes with an opening button for the trunk, and another button which starts the car. The key also has a button to turn on the parking brake. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parking in a tight spot. This feature helps you get in and out of your vehicle.
The key is made from vegetable tanned leather. It takes more than two days to craft each one. The key is cut by hand, shaped by hand, stitched and sealed, then polished to achieve a high-quality result. It is robust compact and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however it feels heavier and has a luxurious feel.
It also comes with Secure-A-Key, which helps prevent theft of keys with no key. This device is put into the remote-control fob and is disabled if the key is not used for more than a few minutes. It prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can be used to unlock and start the car.
Bentley's unique design reflects the company's values of exquisite craftsmanship and engineering expertise. It also includes modern technology. Over 4,000 employees work at its Crewe headquarters, responsible for the design, development, and production of Bentley automobiles. These workers apply skills that have been passed through generations to modern automotive technologies. This is the hallmark of British manufacturing at its best.
Personalisation
Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to create their own car. The "mood station" allows guests to select images that inspire them. These could range from scenic vistas and sporting events. Every time a choice is made the pattern that emerges is the model colors, style and color preferences for the custom
bentley key fob programming.
The guests are given keys made by hand and containing the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys are also equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps, which illuminate the door-opening pathway with the owner's name and/or emblem as they approach the vehicle.
Bentley key Shell claims it takes about 500 man hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. One of the main reasons for that lengthy effort is a conscious refusal to adopt the latest technology. The Crewe factory workers do not make use of a machine to create perfectly matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. Drivers have to park their cars manually, rather than relying on sensors built-in to direct them to perpendicular and parallel spots.
Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization skills with a special Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays homage to founder William Osler Bentley. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays homage to the founder William Osler Bentley. The 100 limited edition cars come with keys that display a piece of the 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
