What is Pragmatism?
People who are pragmatic prioritize actions and solutions that are likely to succeed in the real world. They don't get entangled by a set of idealistic theories that may not be practical in the real world.
This article examines the three methodological principles for pragmatic inquiry. It also provides two examples of projects that focus on organizational processes in non-governmental organizations. It suggests that pragmatic approach to research is a useful approach to study the dynamic processes.
