BMW Ghost Immobiliser
The Ghost utilizes the CAN data bus to communicate with your vehicle. This stops thieves adding keys or replacing the ECU to bypass your security system as it requires a correct PIN code to begin the engine.
Unlike other immobilisers unlike other immobilisers, the Ghost does not use LEDs or key-fobs. Instead it uses the buttons on your vehicle to allow you to select a unique disarm sequence that only you know.

Our BMW

The Ghost can be fitted to any BMW. All you need is the correct keys, since the device doesn't utilize the original remotes, but can be used in conjunction with them. If you do not want to use a smartphone, or don't feel comfortable with it, we can provide an optional Bluetooth tag that can be used to disable the
ghost immobiliser cost. This is an additional cost and requires a separate Bluetooth pairing.
Anti-Hijack
With hi-tech thieves becoming more and more sophisticated, the security technology has to change, that's why Ghost has created this subtle and unobtrusive immobiliser. It's designed to stop thieves from adding an ignition key or replacing the ECU to start your vehicle and drive it off. Ghost is connected to your CAN network and uses buttons on your vehicle to create an unique push-sequence which must be entered before the engine can be started.
If the anti-hijacking mode has been activated, any attempt to restart the engine will be blocked. The system will sharpen the horn and flash the indicators. It will also stop the vehicle if the code is not found. By entering your push sequence or entering service mode, you can deactivate the Anti-Hijack function. This allows your vehicle to be temporarily started without the need to enter the PIN.
If you own an GPS device linked up to your BMW it could be used to turn off the Anti-Hijack feature, so you can still use the navigation system inside your car even when the vehicle is parked and unsupervised. You can also use your mobile phone to control the anti theft feature,

You can also view your vehicle's location in real-time on a map on your smartphone, which is ideal for tracking your car whilst on the move.
The Ghost can be positioned under the dashboard or within the centre console, it is completely secure and untouchable and does not require any extra wiring. The device is connected to the vehicles CAN Data Network (similar to an Ethernet cable) and a unique PIN code is inserted into it. The pin code needs to be chosen prior to the engine's start. This stops thieves from using a copied key or replacing the ECU in order to get around this system.
