What is Free Evolution?

Free evolution is the idea that the natural processes of living organisms can lead to their development over time. This includes the creation of new species and transformation of the appearance of existing ones.

This has been demonstrated by numerous examples, including stickleback fish varieties that can be found in salt or fresh water, and walking stick insect types that have a preference for specific host plants. These reversible traits cannot explain fundamental changes to the basic body plan.

The evolution of the myriad living organisms on Earth is a mystery that has fascinated scientists for decades. The most widely accepted explanation is Charles Darwin's natural selection, an evolutionary process that occurs when better-adapted individuals survive and reproduce more effectively than those that are less well-adapted. Over time, the population of well-adapted individuals grows and eventually forms an entirely new species.

Natural selection is a cyclical process that involves the interaction of three elements: variation, inheritance and reproduction. Variation is caused by mutation and sexual reproduction both of which enhance the genetic diversity within the species.
