What is Pragmatism?
People who are pragmatic focus on actions and solutions that are likely to succeed in the real world. They don't get caught up in theorizing about ideals that might not be practical in practice.

As the Deweyan period ended and analytic philosophy flourished and many pragmatists resigned the label. But some pragmatists continued to develop their philosophy, such as George Herbert Mead (who contributed to feminist feminism) and Dorothy Parker Follett (who considered organizational operation). Other pragmatists were interested in realism broadly conceived whether it was a scientific realism that holds the view that truth is a monism (following Peirce), or a more broad-based alethic pluralism (following James and Dewey).
